International Diploma and Advanced Diploma Course Students
We provide a unique range of internationally accredited Diploma and Advanced Diploma courses for therapists, as well as short courses, training and continuing professional development for counsellors, therapists, medical practitioners, health professionals, social and community workers in the Middle East. Our students come from across the GCC states, as there are no other courses of their kind available in the region. Our professional practitioner therapist training courses are tailored to the needs of each individual student and cover a range of therapeutic approaches, including clinical hypnotherapy, psychotherapy & counselling, cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT), and Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP). Some of our courses are suitable for complete beginners, whilst others are only open to practising professionals who are already qualified in a relevant field. International Diploma in Hypnotherapy & Psychotherapy (Oct 2010 - June 2011) This popular intensive course combines hands-on classroom training with home study and practice, based on the written and audio-CD materials provided. Held over 10 two-day modules, from October 2010 – June 2011, this course will teach all that you need to be able to set up a successful private practice as a therapist. We are already referring clients to our graduates as the demand for effective therapy continues to build, exceeding the supply of properly trained and qualified therapists. The course is suitable for complete beginners, as well as for medical practitioners, health professionals, counsellors and therapists who wish to add effective and evidence-based new techniques to their existing therapeutic skills. Previous Diploma courses have been over-subscribed so early application is advised. Your Diploma certificate will awarded directly from EICH, UK, giving you an internationally recognised qualification. International Advanced Diploma in Hypnotherapy & Psychotherapy (Sept 2010 - May 2011) This course is open to therapists who have already completed their training, whether with us or another reputable training provider, and achieved a recognised qualification in Hypnotherapy. The skills you will have gained from the International Diploma course are certainly enough to enable you to establish a successful practice but this advanced course takes you to a higher level of achievement. The Advanced Diploma allows you to extend your skills and versatility. Completing this course means that you will have advanced skills in understanding and client-handling, along with the ability to work without conscious hypnosis when necessary – essential when dealing with certain types of personality. Not only that, but you will also have a huge variety of techniques to hand, ensuring that you always have the right ‘tool for the job’. You will truly be an expert with specialist knowledge. The Advanced Diploma follows on from the International Diploma Course. Before commencing, it is necessary to have completed the first year course with us, or with another approved training provider, and to join the Association for Professional Hypnosis & Psychotherapy (APHP) as a pre-approved Licentiate Member. N.B. It is possible to attend the Advanced Diploma with us, even if you did not train with us, as long as you already have obtained a qualification (DHP., CHt. or similar) in clinical hypnosis or hypnotherapy from a reputable accredited school via a classroom-based course. The Course Leader will require evidence of your previous qualification, curriculum covered, and hours of study completed to assess your suitability. The Advanced Diploma training comprises a series of modules, some of which may be open to other suitably qualified and/or experienced therapists, counsellors, mental health professionals or medical practitioners. The modules usually last for a weekend comprising two full-days, held once a month. Most modules incorporate a half-day Professional Supervision Programme (PSP) into the weekend. The Advanced Diploma provides a total of 20 days specialist professional development. Some of the Modules give you the opportunity to obtain additional qualifications. For example, in previous Advanced Diploma courses, students have obtained a Diploma in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), and some have also gained qualifications in Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) and Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT), along with the Advanced Diploma. On successful completion you will receive your ‘International Advanced Diploma in Hypnotherapy & Psychotherapy’ and be able to immediately fast-track an upgrade of your professional association membership to Full Member status (which normally takes at least two years).
