Now You Do Have Enough Time to Learn Tai Chi! An increasing number of people are interested in learning Tai Chi but the problem, for many of them, is that they just don’t have enough time to devote to learning such a complex and demanding system of movement. The ‘Micro Form’ of Tai Chi solves this problem. In traditional Tai Chi, there is a ‘Short Form’ and a ‘Long Form’. Versions of the Short Form usually contain somewhere around 40 movements while the Long Form is supposed to contain 108 (or even more) movements. If the Short Form is too long for most people then I suppose that must mean that the Long Form is just way too long! The Micro Form contains only eleven essential movements (enabling those who are ready to progress to the Short Form.
